Shawn is responsible for providing staffing plans, standard operating procedures, risk assessments, threat analyses, budgets, and direct management support for these External Security Services Programs. Shawn is also tasked with the procurement and ground up build of all new External Program accounts in which Shawn has driven a $15mil build in the past five years. Shawn has been in a full-time management role with RMC Events, INC since the Summer of 2006.

Shawn holds multiple certifications through VA DCJS, DHS, AHA, National Center for Spectator Sports Safety & Security, and FEMA. Shawn is also a graduate of the Equity Institute through USC’s Race and Equity Center. Shawn attended Gettysburg College where he was a History major minoring in Political Science. Shawn’s strong organizational and management skills, combined with extensive hands-on experience, are true assets as he builds solid business relationships filled with mutual respect and trust. His energy and contagious enthusiasm ensure a positive experience for staff and clients. “On a daily basis”, Shawn explains, “I’m constantly reminded of how much can be accomplished and how well it can be done with the quality folks I get to work with here at RMC Events. Shawn is a native of Arlington Heights, Illinois and, prior to joining RMC Events, Shawn was a patrol officer for a small liberal arts college Safety and Security Department in PA. In addition, Shawn was a successful Sous Chef at a fast paced fine-dining establishment also in PA. Shawn and his wife currently reside in Charlottesville, Virginia with their two beautiful daughters Rylie & Finley-Rose, wicked handsome son Emmett, and three other furry four-legged children.
